The Schatzii Story: Award-Winning Innovation Since 2011
Back in 2011, I was a tech executive living the Silicon Valley dream—except for one glaring, smudge-covered nightmare. I spent my days giving high-stakes mobile presentations while desperately trying to wipe greasy fingerprints off my screens.  My shirt sleeves, napkins and flimsy microfiber cloths from my eyewear weren’t doing my screens justice, and lugging around a bulky spray bottle just wasn't cutting it for me. Realizing the industry was filled with brilliant minds but terrible cleaning options, I decided to fix it and engineered a global phenomenon. I dumped the spray bottles, and created the Schatzii Smart Cloth.

It didn’t just clean screens; it did it with so much style that the Apple Stores worldwide snatched it up. The media was generous and instantly showered it with accolades, the Apple Stores proudly stocked it worldwide, and the prestigious Apple Talk officially declared the Schatzii Smart Cloth “Swag Ragalicious.” Even the Editors at 'Martha Stewart Living’ magazine liked it so much they talked about it in her magazine.

After my big splash with our customer favorite Smart Cloths, I cranked up the innovation dial fueled by my excitement with the success of the Smart Cloths, and churned out more game-changing tech and unique mobile accessories that rescue your daily routine without cramping your style. Today, Schatzii curation stands supreme, serving up jaw-dropping personal gear engineered exclusively for the digerati, fashionistas and anyone else tired of ugly boring gadgets.

Origin of the brand name “Schatzii”
Before I became Schatzii's Fearless Leader, I was a high-flying Silicon Valley exec living life at 35,000 feet. Naturally, I married a Lufthansa flight attendant who affectionately called me “Schatzii” (German forTreasure or Honey). During one fateful flight, staring down a high-stakes presentation through a layer of screen grime, inspiration struck. I created the ultimate Smart Cloth and dubbed it the Schatzii, stealing my own nickname for the brand. Is it a real treasure?  Everyone who uses it thinks so.  But, that marriage and the sky-high jet-setting lifestyle didn’t suit me in the end, and today I’m glad to say that I'm happily remarried and my wife makes sure to keep me firmly planted on the ground.  She calls me plenty of other names (most of which I can't print here), but never Schatzii. That title is strictly reserved for the screen-saving treasure you won't be able to live without. I sure can’t, and once you try it, you’ll understand why.

From Smart Cloths to Award-Winning Clean Air
I didn't stop at pristine screens. Now soaked in Florida sunshine, Schatzii has evolved into a humble powerhouse of personal electronics while still maintaining that small town charm. Backed by a bunch of USPTO patents, I started developing more products driven to bring this same acclaimed brilliance into the home.  I launched our sibling brand, Hugo. The industry took notice immediately: the groundbreaking Hugo 3-in-1 Air Purifier dominated the National Hardware Show, snagging the coveted Most Innovative Concept Award in 2022.  It’s the only all-in-one Air Purifier + UV Air Sterilizer that also traps and kills mosquitos and insects, and it’s still whisper quiet!
